The house rules, in full
Last updated October 29, 2026. By using velos.fun or the Velos program (launching a coin, buying, selling or claiming), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use Velos.
1. Who can use Velos
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement.
- You may not use Velos if you are located in, or a resident of, a country or region under comprehensive sanctions (such as Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, or the Crimea, Donetsk or Luhansk regions), if you appear on a sanctions list, or if using Velos is against the law where you are.
- You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you, including tax laws.
2. What Velos is
- Velos is software: this website and a program on the Solana blockchain. Anyone can launch a coin, which trades on a bonding curve and moves to a Raydium pool once it sells out.
- Velos is non-custodial. We never hold your funds or your keys. Every transaction is signed by your own wallet and settles on Solana, where it can't be reversed. We can't cancel, refund or recover a transaction, a lost key or tokens sent to the wrong address.
- We are not a broker, exchange, investment adviser or fiduciary, and nothing on Velos is an offer to sell securities or investment advice. We don't create, vet or endorse the coins people launch.
3. Risks you accept
- Coins launched on Velos are memecoins. Most have no value beyond what someone will pay for them, and their price can fall to zero within minutes. Only use money you can afford to lose.
- Creators and other buyers can sell at any time. Launch protection makes sniping expensive at the open, and buys during it need the site's co-signature, but neither stops someone buying with many wallets.
- The program and this site can have bugs that lose funds, despite reviews and testing.
- Solana, Raydium, wallets, RPC providers and storage services can be slow, fail or change, and laws and regulations can change in ways that affect Velos or your coins.
4. Fees
- The program charges fees on trades (a protocol fee, a creator fee and, while a launch is protected, a higher opening fee that falls over a few minutes), a fee to create a launch, and a migration fee taken from the curve when a coin moves to Raydium. Solana network fees come on top.
- Your wallet shows what a transaction does before you sign it. A coin's fees are fixed when it opens; fees for future launches may change. Current figures are in How it works.
5. Launches, buys and sells
- During a coin's launch protection, buys on its bonding curve need the site's co-signature. We may decline or delay it, for example over limits, to stop abuse, or while the site is down. After the protection buys don't need us, though we can stop all buys on the curves in an emergency. Selling never needs us: you can sell from any app or tool that supports the program.
- During launch protection all buyers share one cap per Solana slot, and the opening fee is higher. The rules of each launch are fixed when it's launched. A launch can be scheduled to open up to 24 hours later; nobody can buy before it opens, its creator included, except the creator's dev buy in the launch itself.
- A coin that sells out moves to a Raydium pool, and its liquidity is locked for good. If that hasn't happened 48 hours after it sold out, it switches to refunds, where every token redeems for an equal share of the SOL in the curve.
- A gift link holds a coin in a wallet whose key is in the link: anyone who has the link can claim the gift. We never hold it, so we can't recover a lost link, take back a claimed gift or stop someone who got the link from claiming it.
6. Creating a coin
- You are responsible for everything you launch: its name, ticker, picture, description and links. Don't launch a coin that:
- uses someone else's trademark, brand or work without permission, or pretends to be a person, company or project;
- is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual content involving minors, or shares someone's private information;
- links to malware or phishing, or promises returns, or is part of a scam.
- Pictures and details you upload are stored on IPFS and on-chain, which is public and permanent. Don't include personal information. We may hide any coin or content from this site; we can't change what's on-chain.
- Creator fees go where you chose at launch. Fees for a wallet are claimed by the creator's wallet. Fees for a GitHub account are paid out when its owner signs in with GitHub to claim them; until then they stay in its fee vault. Either can be claimed once it reaches 0.01 SOL; a smaller amount stays where it is until it grows.
7. Rules for everyone
Don't use Velos to:
- manipulate a market: wash trading, spoofing, coordinated pump-and-dumps;
- use bots or many wallets to get around limits, launch protection or the rewards rules;
- exploit a bug (report it to [email protected] instead), or flood, scrape or otherwise attack the site;
- launder money, evade sanctions, defraud anyone or break any other law;
- send spam, scams, phishing links or harassment in messages, comments or groups, or pretend to be Velos or anyone else.
8. Rewards and referrals
- Daily platform rewards and referral payouts are programs we run off-chain from the platform's rewards wallet. What they pay depends on the fees collected, and we may change, pause or end them at any time.
- We may withhold rewards or referral earnings from activity we believe is abuse, such as wash trading, referring yourself or farming them with many wallets.
- Holder rewards are paid by our keeper from a coin's own fees, on a snapshot of balances. A share too small to be worth a transaction waits for a later round.
9. Information on the site
Prices, market caps, charts, holder lists, fairness grades and reports are produced automatically from on-chain data. They can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and they aren't advice. Do your own research.
10. Changes to Velos
We may change or remove features, pause new launches, stop co-signing buys, block access to the site, or shut it down, at any time and without notice. Coins already on-chain keep working: you can still sell them with other tools, and refunds follow the rules above.
11. Other services
Velos relies on services we don't control: Solana, Raydium, your wallet, Cloudflare, RPC providers, Pinata and IPFS, GitHub and X. Their own terms apply to them, and we aren't responsible for them.
12. Your content and ours
- The Velos name, logo and site are ours.
- You keep the rights to what you upload. You confirm you're allowed to share it, and you let us show it on the site and in link previews, worldwide and for free.
- A profile's name, bio and X handle are public and shown next to your wallet across the site. The rules for coins in section 6 apply to them too: don't impersonate anyone or post anything that breaks them. Names and referral link codes are first come, first served, and no two wallets can have ones that look alike. A code stays yours once you set it. We may remove a profile, free up a name or take back a code that breaks these terms. You can change or remove your profile at any time.
- Comments on a coin's page are public and shown with your wallet; you can delete your own. The rules for coins apply to them too, and we may remove a comment that breaks these terms.
- A coin's group is open to its holders and creator, and shows your messages there with your wallet; you can delete your own. The coin's creator runs its group and may remove messages or pin one; we may remove one that breaks these terms. Velos itself posts alerts there, such as the dev-sell alarm, and only we can remove those. Anyone can join a group by buying the coin, so treat it as public.
- Messages go only to the wallet you send them to, but they're kept on our server and aren't end-to-end encrypted. Velos never messages you first and will never ask for your seed phrase. We may read a message that's reported to us, remove it, and turn messaging off for a wallet that breaks these terms. Anyone can write to any wallet, so treat a message from a stranger the way you'd treat any stranger: links in messages aren't clickable for that reason.
13. Privacy
- Wallet addresses and transactions are public on Solana, and the site shows them, including on each wallet's profile page: what it holds, its trades, its launches and what Velos paid it.
- If you set up a profile, we keep its name and bio until you change or remove it. If you verify an X account, we keep its handle and the link to the post that proved it until you unlink it; X's embed service sees which post we checked.
- If you use messages, we keep them, who sent them to whom and when, and whether they were read. Clearing a conversation hides it for you; the other wallet keeps its copy.
- If you follow a creator, we keep your browser's push address and the creators it follows, to send the notifications. Unfollowing, or turning notifications off in your browser, ends them.
- To show which creators are linked by funding, we read from public Solana transactions where a creator's wallet got its SOL before its first launch, and show the links on the site.
- We use your IP address to stop abuse and enforce limits. Cloudflare carries our traffic and measures page performance.
- If you sign in with GitHub to claim fees, we keep your GitHub username and ID in a session cookie. Your browser keeps your theme, view settings and any referral link you arrived with.
- We don't sell your data.
14. No warranty
Velos is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a purpose, accuracy and uninterrupted or error-free operation, to the fullest extent the law allows.
15. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, tokens, funds or data, however caused. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the protocol fees you paid in the 12 months before it, or US$100.
16. Your responsibility to us
You agree to cover our losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) from claims arising out of your use of Velos, the coins and content you create, or your breaking these terms or the law.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we'll note important changes on the site. Using Velos after a change means you accept it.
18. Disputes and general terms
- If something goes wrong, contact us first: we'll try to settle it informally within 30 days.
- If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term isn't a waiver of it. These terms are the whole agreement between you and us about Velos.
19. Contact
